About You

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with at least 2 years of experience working in a hospital. To thrive with us, you have a positive attitude, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, and you see opportunities in changes and challenges. As a person, you are committed and trustworthy with good social skills. We place great importance on the ability to communicate and collaborate with people. Working in the Staffing Unit requires high flexibility regarding tasks and workplaces.

Your Future Workplace

The Staffing Unit's mission is to cover for absence and peak workloads for Kalmar County Hospital and primary care in southern Kalmar County, including Öland. Through good customer relations and systematic dialogues, we take into account the employees' competencies when the customer's needs arise. A total of over 35 employees work in the Staffing Unit, including nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialized care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Here, over 2300 people work to provide good care and high patient safety to the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development work ensures that we achieve good results in several different national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
